Their growing team of Registered Dietitian Nutritionists and consultants are tireless in their efforts to provide their clients everything from customized dietetic services to mock surveys of Food & Nutrition Services for compliance to State and Federal Regulations. The Case
As the number of facilities served by Optimal RDN Soluticions grew, so did the difficulty in tracking critical processes and performance at each. “We have accounts across Southern California so the distance made it difficult to track the consultants consistently” according to Megan DeMeritt MS, RDN of Optimal RDN Solutions. Furthermore, they needed a way to keep track of the large number regulatory audits and checks performed by their team and ensure outcomes were being delivered in a meaningful way to the client. Implementation

This would empower them to not only measure the performance of individual facilities, but entire client portfolios.
Next, Optimal RDN Solutions submitted PDF versions of existing audits in use (including Kitchen Sanitation, Test Tray Evaluations and Tray Line Accuracy audits) which MyFieldAudits was able to rapidly upload for use in their mobile apps. The final step was a quick training for their team to ensure their consultants in the field knew how to use the platform and expectations for completion.

For their existing clients, it’s enabled them to demonstrate more value and drive dialogue around critical issues found by their team. “Our clients, administrators and directors of nursing have responded very well and have asked for the reports to be sent to various members of the team for review.” The Dietary Managers at the facilities have expressed excitement in using technology to create greater efficiency in their busy work days. All parties have shown renewed interest in completing rather mundane, but essential food safety & quality assurance performance improvement audits.
